Edward Prokop retired from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) as a Police Commander, Commanding Officer of Support Services Group (SSG) after 27 years of service. His Command experience includes: Commanding Officer of Special Operations Group, (SWAT, K-9, Mounted Unit, Dive Unit, Metropolitan Division, Air Support Division, Security Services Division), Support Services Group, Assistant CO Counter Terrorism & Special Operations Group, Metropolitan Division and Newton Area. Ed served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an infantry Squad Leader from 1988-1996 and participated in ground combat operations during Operation Desert Storm and is currently a reserve Special Agent for The United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations and has deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Enduring Freedom to Qatar and Afghanistan
