Edward Prokop retired from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) as a Police Commander, Commanding Officer of Support Services Group (SSG) after 27 years of service. His Command experience includes: Commanding Officer of Special Operations Group, (SWAT, K-9, Mounted Unit, Dive Unit, Metropolitan Division, Air Support Division, Security Services Division), Support Services Group, Assistant CO Counter Terrorism & Special Operations Group, Metropolitan Division and Newton Area.
